The EastEnders star Steve McFadden, who plays Phil Mitchell in the award-winning soap, was the subject of a hoax call to police, who then raided his house and found a famous porn star instead of the alleged guns he was supposed to be hiding.

A “source” told the News of the World yesterday: “The police got two tip-offs that Steve had guns hidden in his home – so an armed team was sent round to check it out,”.

“No one was more shocked than Steve. The police did a quick search but put it down to a malicious call.”

I’m a big Doctor Who fan, so I am disappointed to read that he has been knocked off the Number One spot in this years Xmas viewing figures.

The Doctor still managed 10m viewers, but that is 1.4m lower than last years figure, and left him in third place behind the unbelievable East Enders, who gathered 10.9m watchers.

 There are so many people being lined up as the possible killer of Archie Mitchell, it’s more like an Agatha Christie Whodunnit, then a regular TV series! And if anyone has worked out who the real killer is, then please leave a comment with your reasoning.
