I come into contact with many football fans from all over the world, but i was pleasantly surprised to be contacted by a moderator from an Arsenal website from Thailand – GunnerThailand.com. She is a lovely girl called Hidra.

Having visited Thailand for four months not long ago, i got chatting about how lovely the country was, and she told me about how much the Thais loved football, and that they have over 1200 registered members for their forum alone, not counting the guest visitors.

There are thousands of Arsenal news sites out there on the World Wide Web, not to mention all the mainstream news sites and the newspapers, but there is one site that i like to go to every day.

JustArsenal finds all the Arsenal news and gets them on the site, usually before all the bigger sites even get a whiff of them. You can find a couple of stories normally added before nine o’clock in the morning, and then more is added as the day goes on, as and when a good story breaks.

I had no idea exactly what i was looking for so i put into Google “Personalised Sports Gifts”, and was given “about” 76,100 results! (i love the way Google puts in that “about”!)

What a selection i was confonted with! Without even clicking on a link i could see a good range of articles on offer. T-Shirts, Mugs, Mouse-mats, Diaries, DVDs, Photos. It’s just incredible what is available nowadays via the internet.

I have a football website, and i get to look at many similar websites every single day, you could not imagine exactly how many there are in the world. I have been doing this for a few months now and i am still finding new ones every day.

But sometimes, one stands out and i take an extra bit of notice, and 11gunners.com fits that bill.

11Gunners.com is a site purely focused on news and views about the English Premiership side Arsenal, and is taking advantage of the massive untapped resource of Arsenal fans in India.
