SmallRivers – At last, a simple way to connect with like-minded bloggers!
There are thousands of us "solo" bloggers on the web, and it is a real bind having to search through Google with your keywords to try and connect with people who share the same blogging interests, and write similar posts about similar subjects.
Well now there is a simple solution available, with the increasingly popular SmallRivers network. They have taken the simple concept of connecting blogs with the same ideals and beliefs, and their little "connect" button lets you see what the others in your network are blogging about in real time. It looks like a sort of RSS feed, but the contributing feeds are from your fellow "connected" websites. It is the perfect tool for bloggers to network content and audiences.
This also gives you the added advantage of everyone else also being able to view your posts on their websites as soon as you publish them, and putting you in touch with a never-ending stream of visitors that may never have heard of your blog otherwise.
The concept was immediately taken up by conservation websites like the WWF and to give you an idea, their "SmallRiver" relating to the WWF International Arctic Program has already got 394 connected sites.
As I am a general blogger, like most of us, I am going to connect up to the "bloggers" network, and I will become the 925th blogger to join up!
